Tasks
As a IT/OT Programmer, your primary mandate will be to carry out various industrial IT projects (IT/OT). More precisely, you will have to :
- Participate in the implementation of various IT/OT projects ;
- Develop network/server/client architectures ;
- Prepare and physically assemble servers, switches, and firewalls ;
- Install and configure Windows Server (domain, DNS, DHCP, RDP) ;
- Install and configure Windows 10/11 ;
- Install and configure databases ;
- Configure switches and firewalls in IT/OT architectures (with DMZ) ;
- Installation and configuration of anti-virus software ;
- Performing factory readings ;
- Commissioning of infrastructures ;
- Ensuring compliance with schedules and quality procedures ;
- Performing all other related tasks.
Requirements
- Hold a college degree in computer science, industrial electronics, or any other equivalent training and experience ;
- 5 years of experience in a similar position ;
- Knowledge of networking and server configurations ;
- Knowledge of databases and of Cisco switches and firewalls (an asset) ;
- Be fluent in French and English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with our partners outside of Quebec ;
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite ;
- Hold valid driver's license ;
- Available to travel to customer sites ;
- Demonstrate organisation skills ;
- Exercise rigour, autonomy and take initiative ;
- Ability to work in a team and have a good team spirit;
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication capabilities ;
- Professionalism.
