A NEW STRATEGIC ALLIANCE FOR THE EXCELPRO GROUP
The Excelpro Group and Génik are proud to announce the acquisition of Agmanic Vision, a company specializing in the integration of artificial intelligence and computer vision. The upcoming collaboration between these companies will make it possible to push digital transformation even further in automation projects for manufacturing companies.
Agmanic Vision is an innovative company based in Montreal. Thanks to the technologies they have developed, Agmanic Vision are positioned as experts in computer vision and artificial intelligence solutions, enabling companies to detect quality defects in their production and automate their manual processes.
The alliance between Agmanic Vision, Génik and the Excelpro Group is an added value for these companies, whose strengths are highly complementary. “The addition of Agmanic Vision’s expertise enables us to broaden our offer to all our clients, so that we can support them even more effectively in the realization of their automation projects” adds Patrick Charette, president of the Excelpro Group.
Sharing the common mission of ‘creating tomorrow’s industry’, the Excelpro Group and Génik, with this acquisition, secure the means to propel their global offer and deliver under a single banner everything manufacturing companies need to realize their automation projects.

About Agmanic Vision
Launched in 2019, Agmanic Vision helps product manufacturers improve quality and functionality through computer vision and artificial intelligence. The company was started by two established engineers, Peter McLaughlin and Tristan Pashley, both with significant automation experience. Peter McLaughlin has led control system development in aerospace, nuclear, industrial gas turbine and warehouse automation industries. Having learnt his trade at Rolls-Royce and Siemens, Peter was Director of Industrial Controls & Robotics at Symbotic Canada before launching Agmanic Vision. Tristan Pashley ran the mechanical engineering department at Symbotic Canada, responsible for over 50 engineers. Prior to launching Agmanic Vision, Tristan was Director of Business Development at Automation Machine Design.
